Visit of Andres Lucia: Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy

It was an honor to welcome Andrés Lucia from the Comisión Nacional de Energía Atómica (CNEA) in Argentina to our HoloLith Group!
During his visit, he delivered an engaging seminar on Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS), exploring its principles, capabilities, and applications across a wide range of research fields, from materials analysis to environmental monitoring. His presentation offered a comprehensive overview of both the experimental techniques and the analytical approaches that make LIBS such a versatile tool in modern research.
Beyond the seminar, we had the pleasure of engaging in fruitful discussions on optics and interdisciplinary applications. We are grateful for his visit and the stimulating scientific exchange it enabled.
